Who we are

InformatiQ operates AS215605 from Amsterdam, Netherlands. For the purposes of the GDPR we are the data controller for the personal data described here. Reach us at noc@informatiq.org.

What we collect

This website collects personal data in one place only: the contact form. When you submit it we store what you typed, plus two derived fields.

• Name and email address, which you provide.
• Company name, service of interest and your message, where you provide them.
• A truncated IP address. IPv4 addresses have the final octet zeroed and IPv6 addresses are reduced to the first 48 bits, so the value cannot identify an individual connection.
• The country your request came from, as reported by our CDN.

Measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read and how quickly they load. It runs a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com and reports aggregate counts. We chose it specifically because it measures pages rather than people.

• It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
• It does not fingerprint your browser or build a profile of you.
• It does not follow you to other websites, and the data is not shared with advertisers or sold.
• It records the page address, the referring page, general device and browser type, country, and page-load timings.

What we do not collect

• No advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.
• No cookies. Neither this site nor our analytics sets one.
• No full IP addresses in storage or in notification emails.
• No fingerprinting, session recording, or behavioural profiling.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process contact form submissions on the basis of legitimate interest: you asked us a commercial question and we need the details to answer it. Where a submission leads to a contract, subsequent processing is on the basis of performing that contract.

Analytics is also processed on the basis of legitimate interest. Because it stores nothing on your device and does not identify you, it does not require a consent banner — which is the reason we chose a cookieless tool rather than a more invasive one.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are deleted automatically after 24 months. Submissions that become customer records are retained for as long as the commercial relationship lasts, and afterwards only where tax or accounting law requires it.

Who else sees it

Submissions are stored on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare and delivered to us by email through Resend. Cloudflare also provides the analytics described above. All act as processors on our instructions. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Email noc@informatiq.org and we will action the request within 30 days. You can also complain to your national supervisory authority; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not maintain a mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
